Helene Laube

Helene Laube is a freelance journalist based in San Francisco. From November 2000 until the closure of the Financial Times Deutschland (FTD) in December 2012, she was the financial newspaper’s Silicon Valley correspondent. She was part of the Hamburg-based developmental editing team that paved the way for the launch of the FTD. Previously, Laube worked as an editor on Manager Magazine in Hamburg. Her articles have appeared in publications such as the Financial Times, Los Angeles Times, SPIEGEL Online, SPIEGEL Wissen, Die Zeit, stern, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, brand eins Wissen, Capital, Greenpeace magazine, Wired Germany, Technology Review, and Du. She is also employed as a news editor for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung.
